The Bergen Volunteer Center will host a dinner and auction to celebrate our 51st year of service to the community. The night will feature inspiring stories, meaningful honorees, great networking for our guests, as well as a robust auction of exciting opportunities. We kindly request your support of the Bergen Volunteer Center by sponsoring the event or buying an ad in our event journal. The event will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack, NJ.
We will honor extraordinary individuals and companies who have been serving our community along with us for quite a long time.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Bergen Volunteer Center, providing critical unrestricted funds to support our mission of turning caring into meaningful action, through programs and initiatives such as:
- Mentoring Moms
Connects a mother struggling to provide a safe and positive home for her family with a caring and dedicated mentor - Mentoring Youth
Matches committed and compassionate adult mentors with children who have suffered abuse or neglect - The Chore Service
Is supported by volunteer handypersons who perform home repairs that enable elderly and disabled individuals live independently in their homes
