Flat Rock Brook will hold its annual 5K “Run in the Wild” trail run on August 6th. The run begins at our visitor center and after a short street run enters the shaded and forested trails of our 150-acre preserve. The run provides participants with the uncommon experience of trail running through a nature preserve.
Our 5K is sanctioned by the USA Track and Field Association.
I thought it was a wonderful event! The volunteers and staff were helpful and enthusiastic, and the course was very pretty! It was a really nice event. I will definitely return next year and bring friends!
